This session will focus on the importance of engaging communities in firearm violence reduction efforts including the investigation of fatal and nonfatal shooting cases. Representatives from the BJA-funded National Case Closed Project will share anecdotal information on community groups and public safety representatives collaborating to reduce gun violence.
