Investigating Violent Crime: The Prosecutor’s Role

Violent crime prosecutors do difficult and important work. Though members of the group had much in common, it quickly became apparent that there are a variety of approaches to the job. Some of the differences are rooted in statutory obligations, while others are based on resource limitations. The meeting provided a forum to compare notes and strategies and to debate the merits of each approach.
