The Neurobiology of Trauma: Three-part Video Series

In this three-part webinar, psychology professor Dr. Rebecca Campbell explains the neurobiology of sexual assault trauma. The presentations discuss the body and brain response to trauma, implications for improved response to sexual assault, how victims behave during and after an assault, how trauma affects memory formation and recall during and immediately after an assault, and application of knowledge of the body and brain response to trauma in cold case investigations and victim notification. While the presentation is focused on sexual assault trauma, the content is highly relevant to any victim or family member exposed to trauma.
