This webinar focuses on foundational information for firearm and toolmark identification in violent crime cases. The presenters discuss the most common types of firearms and toolmarks, how to identify them, and processes for analyzing the physical evidence that results from using these weapons. Additionally, the presenters emphasize some of the challenges associated with presenting this information in the courtroom and ways to include these critical pieces of evidence in the appropriate reports.
